You'll definitely get your money's worth in terms of entertainment value, but don't let that fool you. This film is riddled with American ideologies that I found a little too far on the right side.

Dennis Hopper gives an amazingly creepy performance and of course Lynch employs his same auteur-style techniques in one of his best films. Careful where you go looking, you might find something unexpected.

The Dictator
Where Cohen's other films were successful, Dictator fails to employ the same tactic of documenting real reactions. The entire film is scripted and everyone's an actor. Still, it had a few moments.

A very honest portrayal of post-Grad life. I hope to see more from star/writer/director Lena Dunham.

It's never too late to watch certain movies, right? I can see why this film garnered much attention and accolades, Scott achieves some truly stunning cinematic moments, but ultimately it's a larger-than-life epic, where certain things get lost in the grand spectacle of it all.

Jackie Brown
Pam Grier made herself into an action star by kicking some serious butt in the 70's, but here she's just as bad-ass without ever raising a finger.

I'm really upset more people aren't talking about this one. Star Olivia Colman shared a Kermode award with Tilda Swinton for this role. Watching these characters endure what they do in the film is hard at times, but you can't stop watching.
